Edit stream CSDL during recording

If I edit and save a stream CSDL while it is being recorded, will the recording then capture the amended stream or must I start a new recording?

When you edit a stream, you technically create a new stream. So when recording a stream, if you edit it, you will need to start a new recording. This is all explained on our Version Control documentation.
