Examples

  1. Filter for stories about your brand from women in the 35-44 age demographic. This filter returns stories but not engagements (likes, comments, and reshares) because fb.content is populated only for stories:

    fb.author.age == "35-44" and
    fb.author.gender == "female" and
    fb.content contains "Cartier"

  2. Filter for engagements (likes, comments, and reshares) about your brand from the 18-44 age demographic. The fb.author.age target holds the age demographic of the author of the engagement while the fb.parent.content target holds the content of the interaction that is receiving the engagement:

    fb.author.age in "18-24, 25-34, 35-44" and
    fb.parent.content contains "Cartier"

  3. Filter for stories and engagements (likes, comments, and reshares) about your brand from the 18-44 age demographic. The CSDL in the first set of parentheses filters for stories while the CSDL in the second set of parentheses filters for engagements:

    (fb.author.age in "18-24, 25-34, 35-44" and
    fb.content contains "Cartier") or
    (fb.author.age in "18-24, 25-34, 35-44" and
    fb.parent.content contains "Cartier")

Notes

In the UI, the output is a pie or bar chart for up to 7 age buckets.
