Query filtering

  1. Filter to shares of which mention a company with a particular url:

    li.subtype == "activity|share" AND ||.||.company_urls == "http://www.yahoo.com"

  2. Filter to shares of which mention companies with any of a set of urls:

    li.subtype == "activity|share" AND ||.||.company_urls in "http://www.apple.com, http://www.samsung.com"

  3. If you do not know the complete url for each company you can take advantage of the fact that this target is tokenized:

    li.subtype == "activity|share" AND ||.||.company_urls contains_any "apple.com, samsung.com"

    This means that company urls with the url parts in the list will be matched, such as http://www.apple.com.

Analysis

You can use this target to analyze the urls of companies that are mentioned in shares and engagements.

  1. Analyze the urls of companies mentioned in shares:

    "filter": "li.subtype == \"activity|share\"",
    "parameters": {
        "analysis_type": "freqDist",
        "parameters": {
            "target": "||.||.company_urls",
            "threshold": 10
        }
    }

    Notice that here a query filter is used to filter to articles posted in shares.
