Query filtering

  1. Filter to shares that include articles mentioning a particular type of concept:

    li.subtype == "activity|share" AND ||.||.types == "company"

  2. Filter to likes on shares that include articles mentioning any of a set of concept types:

    li.subtype == "activity|like" AND ||.||.types in "product, company"

Analysis

You can use this target to analyze the types of concepts mentioned in articles that have been shared or engaged with.

  1. Analyze the list of types of concepts mentioned in articles that have been posted in shares:

    "filter": "li.subtype == \"activity|share\"",
    "parameters": {
        "analysis_type": "freqDist",
        "parameters": {
            "target": "||.||.types",
            "threshold": 50
        }
    }

    Notice that here a query filter is used to filter to share activities only. Without this filter the query would analyze all interaction types.

  2. Analyze the list of types of concepts mentioned in articles that have been shared by members in a certain country:

    "filter": "li.subtype == \"activity|share\" AND li.user.member.country in \"United States\"",
    "parameters": {
        "analysis_type": "freqDist",
        "parameters": {
            "target": "||.||.types",
            "threshold": 50
        }
    }

    Notice that here a query filter is used to filter to shares from members in the United States.
