disqus.status

The status of a comment:

  • pending
  • unapproved
  • approved
  • flagged
  • killed

The pending status indicates that the owner of the site has chosen to approve comments before they go live and this one has not yet been reviewed, but can be shown to users.

The unapproved status indicates that owner of the site has chosen to approve comments before they go live and this one has not yet been reviewed, and is not visible to users.

The approved status indicates that comment has passed moderation or is on a site that does not require moderation.

The flagged status indicates that visitors to the site have flagged inappropriate content.

The killed status indicates a comment that has beed deleted.

disqus.status and disqus.status_prev can both hold the same value (if some other property of a post changes).
