Improvements to the Developer Site

Today, after much hard work behind the scenes, we launched a major overhaul of our developer site.

Our developer site was served using a CMS platform which is now a number of years old. Over the past couple of months we've been busy moving the site onto a new, much improved platform, which will help our teams create better content for our customers.

As part of the move you'll notice a number of changes.

Firstly, you'll notice the site performance is far faster. Hopefully this boost in performance will make the site a pleasure to use.

Secondly, you'll notice a major change to the content hierarchy and navigation.

Content is now organised by product and common platform features:

  • PYLON for Facebook Topic Data - documentation for PYLON
  • STREAM for Social Data - documentation for the STREAM product, including public and managed sources, and data delivery
  • API Reference - documentation for the REST and streaming APIs
  • CSDL Reference - documentation for the CSDL language

Hopefully this structure will help you find content more quickly.

Keep an eye out for further improvements that will come very soon. Next we'll be working on improving the search features of the site.
